Privacy Statement and Comment Guidelines

Jiva respects the privacy rights of visitors to our website. This Privacy Policy guides how we collect, use, disclose and protect the information that you provide during your visit of our website. We recommend reviewing this policy from time to time because changes in legislation or in the way we process data internally may require adjustments of this privacy policy.

1. Personal Data

Personal information can be any information with which it is possible to identify an individual person, not limited to but including address, name, telephone number or e-mail address.

Information that does not allow to identify a person is not considered personal data.

We process your personal data for the following aims, such as:

  • Fulfillment of orders in our online shop

  • Provision of services via contact forms

It is possible for you to utilize most of this website without providing personal data. 5. Billing information

When you buy an item in our store we might collect data, such as your billing name and billing address. This data is shared with Jiva Ayurveda as they process the payment and shipping of articles. We never collect payment details, such as your bank account data, credit card number, or other details pertaining to your credit card. Payment data will be obtained and processed by our online partner Paypal.

6. Cookies

12. Comment Guidelines

To avoid unpleasant exchanges and disrespectful comments on this website, we have set up guidelines for posting comments:

  1. Offering advice: Pointing out deficiencies in the writing is generally acceptable, if done respectfully and without the intent to harass. Otherwise your advice will not be posted.
  2. Disagreeing with the author: If you disagree with the content here, your comments will be posted, provided they are respectful, related to the article and have a depth of content. We reserve the right to delete emotional, fanatical rants, fallacious arguments, pugnacious comments, etc.
  3. Questions: Post questions as you like but in a respectful manner. Questions should be related to the content although it is recognized that this may not always be possible.
